Care for the hair. Reach the skin between it.

A beard can have sparse areas, coarse strands and dry skin at the same time. Each affects how it looks and feels.

Argan oil helps soften and lubricate existing beard hair. Prickly pear seed oil adds emollient care for dry skin beneath and between the hairs. MCT oil helps the blend spread evenly, so a small amount reaches the areas you want to condition.

Massage into the skin, distribute through the beard and comb into place. The aim is a softer, better-groomed beard with a consistent finish across sparse and dense areas.

Ingredient research

The research behind the ingredients.

ARGAN OIL
Human research on skin moisture.

An open-label study involving 60 postmenopausal women assessed skin hydration over 60 days. Topical argan oil application on the forearm was associated with reduced transepidermal water loss and increased epidermal water content.

This supports argan oil’s moisture-retention role. The study did not measure beard growth.

PRICKLY PEAR SEED OIL
Fatty acids and antioxidant compounds.

Chemical analysis of a prickly pear seed oil sample identified linoleic acid as its main fatty acid, alongside naturally occurring tocopherols. Researchers also measured antioxidant activity in the oil’s phenolic-rich fraction using laboratory assays.

These findings describe the tested ingredient’s composition and laboratory activity.

MCT OIL
An emollient with a formulation role.

Technical information for caprylic/capric triglyceride, one common cosmetic MCT material, identifies emollient and spreading functions. These explain its usefulness in distributing an oil blend over skin and hair.

Ingredients

Argan oil, prickly pear seed oil, MCT oil.

How to use

A few drops. Skin first. Beard second.

START WITH A CLEAN BEARD

Apply to a clean, dry or slightly damp beard.

WARM BETWEEN YOUR PALMS

Spread a few drops between your hands. Start small, especially with stubble or a short beard.

REACH THE SKIN

Work your fingertips through the beard to distribute the oil onto the skin underneath. Include the skin between hairs in sparse areas.

CONDITION THE LENGTHS

Smooth the remaining oil through the beard from the base of the hairs towards the ends.

COMB INTO PLACE

Use a beard comb or brush to distribute the oil and arrange the hairs. Leave in. Adjust the amount to your beard’s length and density, following your product label.

Avoid the eyes, lips and broken skin. Stop use if irritation develops.

Before

After

For patchy, coarse and dry-feeling beards.

Softer strands.

More comfortable skin.

Better grooming.

BARAQEN Beard Oil combines argan oil, prickly pear seed oil and MCT oil to soften coarse facial hair and condition the skin beneath it.

SOFTEN COARSE BEARD HAIR
Argan oil adds lubrication to dry, rough-feeling strands. This improves softness and slip, making the beard easier to comb and handle.

CONDITION THE SKIN BENEATH
Prickly pear seed oil and the emollient blend help soften dry skin under the beard. Work the oil down to the skin so this care reaches beyond the visible hair.

IMPROVE THE GROOMED APPEARANCE
Conditioned hair is easier to arrange. Distribute the oil through both sparse and dense areas, then comb in your preferred direction for a more consistent finish.

Beard hair and facial skin need different kinds of care.

Argan oil supplies a mixture of fatty acids. Prickly pear seed oil adds a different lipid profile, commonly rich in linoleic acid, with naturally occurring tocopherols. MCT oil contributes spread and lubrication.

Beard Care Over Time

Track softness, skin comfort and grooming.

  • MONTH 1

    Find your conditioning routine.

Work the oil down to the skin and through the beard. Notice how the hair feels when you comb it and how the skin feels between washes.

Find the smallest amount that conditions your beard without leaving excess oil on the surface.

  • MONTH 2

    Review the finish.

Compare softness, manageability and dry skin with your starting point. Keep your trimming routine consistent when judging the beard’s shape.

If you photograph patchy areas, use the same lighting, angle and hair length. This helps you separate grooming changes from changes in coverage.
